I am surprised that there wasn't a different runway at this airport to accommodate the wind direction snice most times the wind patterns are predictable. Nevertheless, the pilot did a wise thing by aborting his landing. In addition, most of these jets and their pilots should be able to calculate the wind direction and speed in order to determine whether they are able to execute a safe crosswind landing.
